Read a cell

All I want to do is read either an integer, double or string from a cell - ultra simple

Can someone tell me how to do this ?

d :Double;
....
d := XLS.Sheets[Sheet].Cell[x, y];

Doesn't work.

Try

d := XLS.Sheets[Sheet].AsFloat[x, y];
or .AsString[x,y];
.. .AsInteger[x,y];

Thank you - so obvious - I did read the help file and look at the samples !
I'll put it down to New Year excess.

Everything else is working as expected
