I am getting the error below from an Excel 2007 file that has been converted (saved as) from Excel 2003 format. The Excel 2003 format file loads just fine. (We are using XLSReadWriteII v3). We have many of these files, and most convert from 2003 to 2007 and work just fine, but there are a number of them that result in a similar error.
Error on reading record # 3, F523 Offs: 00000413
Bad record in file.
I can send you the xlsx file if it helps.
I also downloaded the demo for version 4 and got the same error.
