Excel versions supported

Hello,

Can you tell me which versions of Excel are supported in XLSReadWriteII 4? Searches for "version" or ".version" are ignored (too common). I see xvExcel21 (and others) listed in Delphi, so assuming Delphi 2.1 is the oldest supported? Seeing that we don't have all versions of Excel to test with, what happens if an Excel file is created with XLSReadWriteII4 and someone tries to open it with an older or newer version of Excel? Does it open but without formatting, or just not open at all?

We're currently using XLSMini without any problems - so if they support the same Excel versions, I'm happy!
