Hyperlink Relative Local Path

I'm trying to hyperlink files using a relative path so the file structure can be moved or used on a CD, and I can't seem to get it to work. It works fine with a complete path.

I have upgraded to 5.20.26a

When I just use something like "Folder\Filename.PDF" and go into Excel, it places a "#" character in front of the path, and Excel won't follow it or allow you to edit it.

When I take a complete path and edit it in Excel to be a relative path, Excel adds the %20 characters described in other form posts, but when I do that I still get a "#" character I'm not specifying in the code.

I have also made sure that I'm using the correct relative path from the folder where the XLS file resides, and that is the same path the Excel hyperlink edit box uses.

I have also tried preceding the path with a "File:///" described in other posts and that doesn't work, either.

This used to work with previous TXLSReadWriteII versions, so as a work-around I can go back to previous compiled versions, but I would like to get it fixed for the future.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hank
