Unknown ptgs 88

I encounter the error "Unknown ptgs 88" when trying to delete a column from a worksheet (loaded from a Excel 2010 xlsx file). Apparently this happens inside AdjustColumnsFormulas procedure, but there are no formulas in my sheet, just data.

Any idea what might cause this?
